Whether in mobile hydraulic applications or in a variety of industrial applications, liquid tanks and containers of all types and in different shapes, sizes and materials are widely used. Without these containers, numerous systems and applications would not function. The availability of process fluids, coolants, hydraulic oils, etc. is therefore elementary in their applications. No wonder why the levels of these liquids are monitored. Whether continuously, as a high, low or low-low alarm as a switch or sensor, OEMSYS has developed a range of reliable sensors based on the robust float principle.
Floats as level sensors are widely used and proven devices for monitoring the level of liquids in containers. They work on a simple but effective principle: the float rises and falls with the liquid level and transmits this movement magnetically to a reed switch. These sensors and switches require no auxiliary power, are extremely reliable, easy to install and virtually maintenance-free. Their simple design makes them very cost-efficient. But the devil is in the detail.
OEMSYS has continuously optimized both production and the materials used over the last few years in order to achieve high repeatability, robustness and reliability.
Material compatibility in the various applications: The materials of the wetted parts must be resistant to corrosion, erosion and chemical reactions that can be caused by the medium. Frequently used materials are stainless steel, brass, PTFE (Teflon) and special plastics.
The LevelSys B product family relies on high-quality brass as wetted parts to ensure excellent media resistance and robustness in harsh environments.
We also customize for you. Customized level sensors are tailor-made solutions that are specifically tailored to your requirements and applications. Sensor lengths and process connections, the right functions and options directly integrated, e.g. temperature measurement, or your specifications and standards in terms of connectors, cable lengths and cable types. Have your sensor tailored to your needs at the price of a standard device. Why settle for less?
And that's not all: for OEMs, even with smaller quantities per year, OEMSYS also keeps finished products in stock as required.
